These new-like Israeli Simplex Gas Masks are standard issue to Israeli Citizens in the event of war, evacuation, or terrorism. These are the current civilian GENERATION II gas masks (not the old Gen I old style masks usually found elsewhere). Mask INCLUDES a built-in straw adaptor that will allow the drinking of water without having to remove your mask. This feature is a must in our opinion to rehydrate yourself when using your gas mask. Changing the filter cartridge takes less than 15 seconds..

Important Note:
Like most gas masks made, the Israeli gas masks will not perform correctly for men with facial hair or beards (most trimmed mustaches are ok). We suggest testing your mask for a correct seal by putting it on without a filter attached. This test is done by placing the palm of your hand snuggly over the masks filter opening and inhaling. The mask should suck in towards your face and remain tightly sealed (5 to 10 seconds). If air leaks through anywhere around the perimeter of the mask seal, the mask will NOT provide safe protection.
